Standardized Operating Procedures

Required of all New York State real estate brokers under Real Property Law §442-h.

In accordance with New York Real Property Law §442-h, the following are the Standardized Operating Procedures for prospective homebuyers working with Metro Roberts Realty and its associated salespersons:

  1. Identification: Prospective homebuyers are not required to show identification before being permitted to tour or visit a property.
  2. Exclusive Brokerage Agreement: Prospective homebuyers are not required to sign an exclusive brokerage agreement before being shown a home.
  3. Pre-approval for a Mortgage Loan: Prospective homebuyers are not required to provide a pre-approval for a mortgage loan before being shown a home.

These procedures apply to all prospective homebuyers regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, or any other class protected under federal, state, or local law.
